The following professional regulations apply (§ 5 (1) no. 5 c DDG): the Act on the Professional Practice of Healing without a Medical Licence (Heilpraktikergesetz – HeilprG) and the First Implementing Ordinance to the Heilpraktiker Act. There is no mandatory professional chamber for Heilpraktiker; information under § 5 (1) no. 5 a DDG is therefore not applicable.

Coaching (systemic coaching, business and team coaching) is not the practice of medicine (Heilkunde) within the meaning of the Heilpraktiker Act and does not replace medical or psychotherapeutic treatment.
Life Alignment is offered under the Heilpraktiker licence mentioned above as an independent, energetic healing method and does not replace conventional medical or psychotherapeutic treatment.
Yoga workshops ("Energy Alignment Yoga"), which I give on request as a yoga teacher, are not the practice of medicine (Heilkunde) and do not replace medical or psychotherapeutic treatment.

Dispute resolution
I am neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

As a service provider, I am responsible for my own content on these pages in accordance with § 7 (1) DDG and the general laws. Under §§ 8 to 10 DDG, however, I am not obliged to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information or to investigate circumstances that indicate unlawful activity.
Obligations to remove or block the use of information under the general laws remain unaffected. Liability in this respect is, however, only possible from the point in time at which a specific infringement becomes known. This website is hosted by an external service provider (host). The personal data collected on this website is stored on the host's servers.
Squarespace
The provider is Squarespace, Inc., 225 Varick Street, New York, NY 10014, USA ("Squarespace"). Squarespace processes, among other things, connection data, content data, contract data, contact data, names, website access data and other data generated via a website.
Squarespace is used on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. I have a legitimate interest in presenting my website as reliably as possible. Where consent has been requested, processing takes place solely on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and § 25 (1) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG), insofar as the consent covers the storage of cookies or access to information on the user's device.
As Squarespace, Inc. is based in the USA, personal data may be transferred to the USA in the course of processing. According to its own statements, Squarespace is committed to complying with applicable data protection regulations and bases data transfers on appropriate safeguards (e.g. the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or, where applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework). I take the protection of your personal data very seriously. I treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.

Storage period
Unless a more specific storage period is stated in this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with me until the purpose for data processing no longer applies. If you assert a legitimate request for deletion or withdraw your consent to data processing, your data will be deleted unless there are other legally permissible reasons for storing it (e.g. retention periods under tax or commercial law); in the latter case, deletion takes place once these reasons no longer apply.
Withdrawing your consent to data processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can withdraw consent you have already given at any time. The lawfulness of the data processing carried out before the withdrawal remains unaffected.
Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority
In the event of data protection violations, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address bar of your browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser bar.
4. Data collection on this website
Cookies and server log files
This website uses the standard technical functions of Squarespace to display it securely and in working order. Your browser may automatically transmit information (server log files) that Squarespace stores. This includes, among other things, browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer and time of the server request.
This data is not assigned to specific persons. It is not merged with other data sources. Collection takes place on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimisation of my website).
Currently, no additional third-party analytics or tracking services (e.g. Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) are used on this website. Should this change, this privacy policy will be adapted accordingly.
Contact form
If you send me enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact data you provide there (first and last name, email address, phone number if applicable, message), will be stored by me for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions.
This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your enquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on my legitimate interest in the effective handling of enquiries addressed to me (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR), if this was requested.
The data you enter in the contact form remains with me until you ask me to delete it, withdraw your consent to storage, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after your enquiry has been dealt with). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
The contact form is provided via the technical infrastructure of Squarespace (see section 2).
Booking an appointment
The "Book an appointment" button on this website leads to the contact form (see "Contact form" above). No external booking or scheduling tool is used. Appointment requests that you send me via the contact form or by email are used solely to process your request and to coordinate appointments, and are processed in accordance with the principles set out under "Storage period". The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR.
5. Special data processing in coaching and Life Alignment
Coaching
If special categories of personal data are processed in the course of a coaching engagement (e.g. information about your health within the meaning of Art. 9 GDPR, if you provide such information of your own accord in conversations or forms), this processing takes place solely on the basis of your explicit consent (Art. 9 (2) (a) GDPR) and within the framework of the confidential conduct of the coaching engagement. Coaching is not a healing treatment within the meaning of the Heilpraktiker Act.
Life Alignment
Life Alignment is offered under my Heilpraktiker licence as an independent healing method. In a Life Alignment session, health data and other special categories of personal data within the meaning of Art. 9 GDPR (e.g. information about physical and emotional wellbeing) are regularly processed. This processing takes place on the basis of your explicit consent (Art. 9 (2) (a) GDPR) and, where necessary, to carry out the treatment agreed with you (Art. 9 (2) (h) GDPR in conjunction with § 22 (1) no. 1 (b) of the German Federal Data Protection Act, BDSG).
In the course of my professional practice as a Heilpraktikerin, I treat this information in strict confidence. Any treatment records are kept to safeguard against possible liability claims for the duration of the statutory limitation periods under civil law (generally up to 10 years) and are then deleted.
6. Changes to this privacy policy
I reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy so that it always meets current legal requirements or to reflect changes to my services. The new privacy policy will then apply to your next visit.
